Radius Neck / Banjo Advice

Question
Hi
Nick! I´m really pleased with your Nick Picks that arriwed a few days
ago. They improve both tone and speed to my picking. Bye the way, could you tell
me what´s the
benefit with a radius neck compared with a standard one?
Ross Nickerson answer
Its
a personal preference but I believe the radius neck is designed to come up to
the natural curve in your hand. If you lay your fingers on the neck in an F shape
G chord, you have to apply more pressure on the third and second strings then
on the first and fourth, so the neck comes up to help that.
I like it,
but not everyone does, it would be best if you could try one someday, most electric
guitars have radiused necks, that may help.
Thanks again,
Sincerely,
Ross Nickerson
