Winter Acoustic Music Weekend
WUMB Will host the second annual Winter Acoustic Music Weekend, 2/28-3/2, 2014 in Groton MA. WAMW is a "hands on" New England acoustic music retreat. Come for camaraderie and classes, concerts and great guided jam sessions with world-class players and instructors. Sing with Sloan Wainright, study blues with Bob Halperin and Scott Ainslie, pick mandolin with Joe Walsh. Come and create great music!

Wakarusa Bluegrass Festival in Wakarusa, Indiana

June 8th 9th and 10th 2012 is the date for the 8th annual Wakarusa Bluegrass Festival in Wakarusa, Indiana (admission charge). The festival has been expanded to include two free events: an open-jam on Friday the 11th (starting at 6 pm) and the usual Sunday morning bluegrass gospel service and carry-in lunch (starting at 10 am). The festival is at 44625 State Road 19, Wakarusa, Indiana, 46573.

It is a RAIN or SHINE event as we feature a covered stage AND seating areas as well as food and craft vendors and workshops.
