Build Your Own Banjo

The MC 150 Banjo kit is designed for the do-it-yourself craftsman.


Based on our MC-150 banjo, it utilizes a vintage proven design which provides excellent tone!!
All maple wood parts are pre-shaped and ready for final sanding and finishing.

The critical joints are all pre-cut and the slotted fingerboard is glued to the neck.

The 11" maple rim is pre-made and guide holes are drilled.

All metal parts are chrome-plated and ready for assembly.

No special tools are needed. The MC kit, when built, provides an excellent banjo with the looks and tone for either open-back or bluegrass-style playing.

Economically priced, the MC-150 has all quality parts which provide excellent tone.
This model is convertible which means the resonator may be easily detached for open back playing style.
