This is my first Nechville--what an excellent instrument! My first reaction was "this is easier to play" especially on the left hand. The sound on the Zeus is a bit more mellow because of the wooden tone ring, but it still has a bright "banjoey" sound. How do I describe the sound? It just seems more complete with all the ranges of each note sounding completely. This is a great banjo.
