I learned 3 finger in the mid 1970's and have owned a Stelling Sunflower for 30+yrs. I turned 70 recently and handling/playing the Stelling has to physical for comfort so I thought I'd give claw hammer and a lighter banjo a try. I couldn't be more pleased. A comfortable weight, great tone and playability. No, it's not as fancy as my Stelling but it's brought the joy of playing banjo back to me.
