Banjo Head T-wrench drum key for Deering Banjos.

Head tension is critical to good sound. This is the official Deering Head Wrench.

Love this little tool , works great , does what it supposed to do ,its the right tool for the job!

5/16 or 7.3mm size head wrench
This larger 5/16 size head wrench is the correct drum key for tightening the head on Goodtime, Artisan, Boston and Deering Vega banjos as well as other open back banjos that use the larger 9/16 nut size.

1/4 inch or 6.5mm size head wrench
Deering 5 string Bluegrass Banjos Deering 4-string, and 6-string Deering banjos that are "NOT" a Goodtime, Boston or Vega use the standard 1/4 inch or 6.5 mm size.
