I thought that I would followup our correspondence regarding an armrest for the KALA Banjolele. I contacted Ross Nickerson at BanjoTeacher.com (ross@banjoteacher.com) and purchased a BanjoMate Custom Hardwood Armrest, 8 inch that fits perfectly on my banjolele. The cost is: $79.95. I purchased the Curly Cherry.

You might want to recommend this armrest for anyone that contacts KALA with the same situation I had with the rim of the banjolele. Below I include two photos of the armrest.
