In my opinion, the standard EBM is better if you want to maintain a more acoustic sound or ever practice without an amp. The regular EBM does not feedback unless really cranked, so in most cases the plus is not necessary. Ross Nickerson

The EBM electric banjos have been a big hit with musicans playing line. They have a sound chamber under the head creating a natural banjo tone. When unplugged, they have a genuine acoustic sound and the 8" head is large enough to change hand positions from lead to backup. these are the most acoustic sounding electric banjos on the market!
