Bought this banjo in 2019...I figured I'd play it for a while to give it a review. the banjo is a lefty..it's a solid piece of craftsmanship for it's price.the only change I made was an upgraded bridge.this banjo always stays in tune...I highly recommend it .And get the hard case ..well worth it
Thanks for your attention to my order. Once I unpacked everything today, all was great - I only needed to retune the 5th string slightly and I'm now on my way. I also appreciated Ross talking me through various options to select the right banjo before I placed my order. RB
Only had it less than a week. Play it every day. Workmanship is wonderful. Ross listened to what I was looking for, as a beginner, and recommended 2-3 items which this was one. For what I was getting for the money, I chose the MC-150, a fairly new unit from Goldtone. I knew up-front that it was heavy (about 10 lbs.) but after sitting with it for a while, it's not noticeable and the neck weight doesn't tend to pull it down. Great Sound!! I made a good choice! Now if I can only get my fingers to form a good C chord.
