...Ross, I am so pleased with my new CC-100R+ banjo.  I think that I want to play old-time, but I bought the 'R' model and you helped explain to me how to remove the resonator.  For now, I don't need to be loud, but who knows? I may get good enough that I want to be really heard. This banjo is so nice!  The finish is really shiny and uniform and the wood color is very pleasing.  I really appreciate the binding on the neck and the inlays marking the frets.  What a fine instrument to start on!  Actually, I'm not really starting - I bought a Sears banjo in 1968 and sold it because I had no resources for learning.  Now things are different.  Thanks for the membership and the fine introductory material.

My banjo arrived last Friday and I have spent the weekend practicing and learning.  My right hand is tired and about to fall off, but I am so pleased with the CC100R+ and the instructional items in the beginner’s package.  I am wondering why I waited so long to begin playing. I wanted to thank Ross.  I was having trouble with the pay pal the day I ordered my banjo.  He called later that same day to straighten everything out.  He waited until half-time during a Denver Bronco’s football game, just in case I was watching.  I am not a football fan, but was very impressed that he would be considerate enough to wait, just in case..Thanks!
